I am an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Eastern New Mexico University, with Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from New Mexico State University. I lead the Software Engineering and Performance Optimization (SEPO) Lab, where my research primarily focuses on Computing Education, specifically exploring pedagogical methods and AI-driven approaches for Software Engineering to support programming instruction and to promote industry-oriented software development practices in the classroom.
